Lia's work, A step, a fall, 2022 has been selected for the Mandorla Art Prize 2022. The theme of this year's exhibition is Metamorphosis. The prize will be on show at Holmes à Court Gallery, West Perth 21 May - 10 June, 2022.

Sculpture at Bathers began in 2013 to tell the story of West Australian sculpture as a distinctively special practice. Lia has been selected for the fifth ‘free to the public’ exhibition in 2022, alongside 67 WA artists, showing at Bathers Beach and @kidogoarthouse from 19 Feb - 7 March 2022.

As part of Goolugatup Heathcote exhibition Defence/Defiance by Holly O'Meehan, Lia will be participating in a panel discussion about the influence of local environments on contemporary art practice. The discussion will be led by Curator and writer Melissa McGrath and along with Holly and Lia, will feature artists Erin Coates and Nien Schwartz. The event will be at 1pm Saturday 14 August at Goolugatup Heathcote.

JULY 2021 |
Lia has been selected for the inaugural Melville Contemporary 2021, a new biennial acquisitive art prize open to professional artists based in Western Australia. 13 finalists were selected by curators Carly Lane, Jana Braddock, and Yvonne Doherty. The exhibition will be presented at Goolugatup Heathcote, WA from 2 July - 5 September 2021.
